Section Head of Pacing/ICD and Rhythms - Cardiac Investigation Unit (CIU)
Middlemore Hospital

The CIU, based at Middlemore Hospital, provides a wide range of invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures including; pacemaker implantation and follow up, ICD follow up, Rhythm Analysis (Holter and Event recorder) as well as Echocardiography procedures. The team includes Cardiac Physiologists, Cardiac Sonographers, Cardiac Technicians, Cardiologists and Administrative Support.

We currently have an opening in the Cardiac Investigation Unit at Middlemore Hospital for the Section head of Pacing/ICD and Rhythms. This is a senior position and involves overseeing the Pacing/ICD and rhythm analysis services. This is a hands-on position so extensive clinical experience is a must.

You will have post graduate qualifications, extensive clinical experience and a passion for patient focussed service delivery. You will play the lead role in ensuring the department's service standards are met and exceeded.

Clinical Cardiac Physiologist, Cardiology, Hutt Hospital

We are looking fora Clinical Cardiac Physiologist to join our extremely motivated team. We seek a professional who is career focused, dedicated and enjoy working with other likeminded colleagues. A willingness to undertake further education is essential to foster the continued improvement of our team.
You will need experience in the following non-invasive cardiac investigations:

Candidates should be a member of the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology (SCT) or be eligible to become a member and should be registered with the CPRB or eligible for registration. Echocardiography experience essential.
This is a permanent full-time position, however part-time hours may be negotiable with the right candidate.
