We are looking for a self-motivated person with excellent interpersonal skills
who has an enthusiastic team approach to their work. This position is for a qualified,
experienced Clinical Physiologist who has previous echocardiography experience.
The applicant should have or be working towards a relevant Echocardiography
qualification and be registered or fit the criteria to apply for registration
with the Clinical Physiologists Registration Board.
Duties will include performing ECG’s, Holter monitoring, Exercise Stress testing,
Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echoes and
assisting with Trans-oesophageal Echocardiograms.
This is a permanent, part-time (32hrs/wk) position.

Starship Children's Hospital is the sole paediatric cardiac surgical centre in New Zealand servicing a population of four million.
We require a Paediatric Cardiac Sonographer who will also work with adult congenital patients.
This is a permanent 0.6 FTE with the possibility of further hours. This position would suit an experienced Paediatric
Cardiac Sonographer although training could be given to a highly motivated individual with a background in physiology
or similar allied health.
The Paediatric Echo Lab is a fully digital lab with 3D and Strain quantification
capabilities providing a service for the cardiac and general wards at Starship and neonatal echocardiography
for National Women's Health. Opportunities exist to attend outreach clinics within New Zealand and the Pacific.
